The use of non-prescription drugs, alcoholic beverages, or tobacco are prohibited. People who must smoke, should do so only in the designated area outside of the dining hall and keep the area clean of debris.

Camp fires are not permitted without the approval of the Camp Manager.

Appropriate insurance should be secured for each person. Kamp Kumbaya is not responsible for accidents and physical needs not covered by said insurance.

Proper conduct is to be maintained at all times, i.e., no profanity, immoral or illegal conduct.

If pool or lake is used, renter must provide a licensed lifeguard who will be on duty at all swimming activities. A boating director, who has at leasts 6 hours documented boating, must be on duty for boating activities with the lifeguard. the gate to the pool must be locked when not in use.

In no way will Kamp Kumbaya be responsible for negligence on the part of the renter.

The campground is to be left clean and sanitized. A cleaning checklist will be provided. A walk through will be done by the camp manager and the applicant at check-in

The renter must furnish the following items:

Linens
-
Plastic gloves for food handling and cleaning

Paper goods (toilet tissue, paper towels, large coffee filters, aluminum foil, clear wrap, napkins, etc.)

Garbage bags (44 to 60 gallon and 14 to 20 gallon)

Cleaning supplies (comet dish wash, bleach or sanitizer, floor cleaning solution)

Food and spices
-
Personal toiletries
-
First aid supplies as well as any other OTC medications that might be needed.

All lost and found items will be kept in the camp office for 30 days.

The camp owned equipment should be used in a proper manner and with adult supervision.

For the safety of campers and staff, no firearms, air-guns, or fireworks of any kind are permitted on the grounds.

For your safety and the well being of the wildlife in the area, please do not pet, chase, trap, or harass them in any way.

Lights, heat, and A/C should be turned off when areas are vacant.

Please observe all signs on the campground.

For your convenience, a pay phone is provided in the Dining Hall.

A snack bar is provided by the camp and is used to keep rental costs at a reasonable rate.

Proof of insurance is now required on all rentals.

Groups using the ball field lights will be assessed an additional fee of $40.00 per hour the lights are used.
The camp shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property sustained by applicant, campers or staff, or any other person, except to the extent caused by the negligence or intentional misconduct of the camp. the applicant shall indemnify, defend, and hold the camp harmless from and against any and all liability arising out of the use or occupancy of the camp by the applicant. The applicant must carry appropriate insurance and provide proof of insurance to the camp manager upon arrival.
